How do I set up an appointment?
There are several ways to contact me. Please feel free to choose the option that is easiest for you. You can contact me by telephone (413.353.2515,) email (firstname.lastname@example.org,) or by completing the form located on the "Contact Me" tab on this site.

What days/times are you available?
Appointments are generally available Tuesday-Friday, between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Please note that appointments may book rather quickly and likely will need to be scheduled in advance.

What does it cost?
The initial session (intake) is $150. Subsequent sessions are $60 (30 minutes) and $90 (45 minutes.) Acceptable forms of payment include cash and all major credit cards.

Do you take my insurance?
I currently accept the following commercial insurance plans: Beacon (formerly known as Value Options,) Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Health New England, Optum (United, UBH, Harvard Pilgrim), Tufts, and Unicare (managed by Beacon.) You are responsible for contacting your insurance company prior to meeting with me to confirm your appointment will be covered. Any co-pays/deductible are due at the time of appointment.
I am also considered an Out of Network provider and can accept PPO insurances that offer "Out of Network" benefits/coverage.
Some clients choose to pay out of pocket for services and not go through their insurance. Their reasoning is due to privacy and complete confidentiality, as insurances can request a treatment report, have access to your records and diagnosis, and decide and limit the number of sessions you are allowed.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the full fee and charged for the time reserved when cancellations are received less than 48 hours in advance.
Are my sessions confidential?
Your right to confidentiality is an essential part of the therapeutic process. This right will be carefully maintained and information will not be disclosed without your written permission. However, if information pertaining to abuse of a child, elderly person, or disabled person is disclosed, I am mandated to report it. Additionally, information may be disclosed to your insurance company (if you choose to use insurance benefits) or if I receive a criminal court subpoena.
Does seeing a therapist mean something is wrong with me?
There is a lot of stigma surrounding counseling. However, the ability to handle everything life throws at us is not always possible. You are not a superhero. Therapy is a way to invest in yourself and your relationships with others to be your best self, better reach your goals, and find a healthier work/life balance that works for you.
